How to avoid copyright infringement
Is it OK to copy and repost an article, photo, or video that you find on another website or social media?
The short answer is NO — not unless you have received written permission from the copyright holder.
Most digital content has the same copyright protections as non-digital or “offline” content–even if there is no copyright notice stated on the webpage.
On image and video websites, you should always check the license before use and take steps to make sure the image isn’t licensed on another website. And, you should never copy text directly from another source.
