Do you need a privacy policy?
WordPress includes a privacy policy generator which allows us to quickly create a sample privacy policy page on your website. You must edit the text on your privacy policy page to match your business requirements or let us know if you want to page removed from your new website.
These are some regulations/situations where your site may need a privacy policy:
- California Online Privacy Protection Act
- Privacy Shield
- EU General Data Protection Regulation (effective May 2018)
- Children’s Online Privacy Protection Rule
- Your site uses Google Analytics, or runs online ad campaigns with Google or FaceBook.
